The new LAPD Headquarters building is prominently located in Downtown Los Angeles across from City Hall. The project includes a
500,000 SF building which will house 2,300 officers and civilian employees, and below grade parking for 700 cars. The site also contains a
450 seat civic auditorium and a 200 seat cafe. The understated signage program, which consisted of over 700 signs, was designed to
enhance the dramatic architecture and the multi-tiered, drought resistant landscaping.
